I have been promising myself for some time now to learn Spanish. It really bugs me that I often deal with people who speak this language and I am always at their mercy for communication.
My brother is also a motivation as he studied in Mexico and is therefore fluent in the language (Trust sibling rivalry to motivate – Fallen nature I guess).
One of my colleagues showed me that he was using Duolingo. Which I had heard about and never payed much attention to. So I decided to try it out. So far I am impressed even though the stuff is pretty basic and I remember from school.
Let’s see where this goes.
